August 10, 201114 yr Hi, When I put "WideviewAspect=True" in my fsx.cfg my computer will turn into screensaving mode after a while. During long hauls this is not very nice. If I enter "False" this won't happen.Of course I can turn on and off the screensave mode in Windows but I hope someone knows a more sensible way to prevent my machine from entering into screensave mode. Thanks,Menno Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
August 10, 201114 yr No real need to use screensavers with a flatscreen. Images don't burn on like CRT monitors. Just set the monitor to power down in your power settings (after whatever time you want). August 10, 201114 yr Why not simply use Ken Salter's "Alacrity" to turn off all the garbage services and background processes that take up valuable proc power and memory space? It's free and here:- http://alacritypc.kensalter.com/ i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
