Setting Correct Eye position

Recommended Posts

When flying using 2D fwd panel especially on approaches, the eye height is totally incorrect. Unable to see the runway on approach and on landings unable to see the runway during flare (typical pitch attitude just below 5degrees, Flaps 30). Tried using the Shift + backspace/ Shift + Ener key etc but this just causes the side windows to appear as if the pilot is sitting extremely low in the aircraft. The FS9 PMDG 737NG worked perfect with regards to eye height during flare etc. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the correct eye position sorted out in 2D?????

Hi,look into the panel.cfg and search for following entry[VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=0.000, 0.000, 0.000VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8 and now you change one number and it should look like this [VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.000, 0.000, 0.000VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8 save and have a good flight

Hi, Nothing happens when I use CTRL+Q and SHIFT+CTRL+Q. In my panel.cfg the only entry is : alias=PMDG 737*800NGX\panel, are the rest hidden?, how can I get to them. Willem C
