Automatic ignition, PAX loading

Featured Replies

A couple questions: Will automatic ignition be added in the future? Will the pax loading be changed so the actual number of desired passengers can be entered, instead of the desired number minus 7? These minor issues are the only real issues I have with NGX since switching from ASX.

ASX?
ActiveSky "X"-treme. PS, did they take this off the market, I can't find it? I know about ASE.

I don't think any NG's have automatic ignition do they?

Yup, it's in the FCOM.

Well I'll be, keep learning more and more everyday! Would probably learn a lot more if I actually read the FCOM, but my wife would kill me lol

Automatic ignition like the 747-400?

I don't know about the 744, but this is on page 345 on the FCOM.

We have auto ignition at American. The ignitors will come on when the flaps are extended and when the anti ice is turned on.

I'm still jealous about that. Can that really be that much of a cost?
