Stationair 206, full throttle. Is the 'reverberating' (best description I could come up with) engine sound normal? i.e. does it really sound like that?Throttling back a tad 'cures' it, but as it's the only aircraft I have that sounds like this I just wondered.

No, if it sounded anything like that I'd be delighted. I think maybe Carenado have got this one horribly a bit wrong!

Hello Ron! maybe try the FSX C206 Sound-Patch provided on the Carenado Homepage under Updates. I had also some Sound problems with my FSX version and this seemed to cure that! Hope that helps! Andreas

Hi Andreas, I'm one of those 'Patch hounds', I sniff them out and..BANG! I get 'em. I can't recall what it was like before the patch or whether the patch changed it. I've decided to do some poking around other sound files to see if I can get it to sound like Glenn's video.

I've located a Turbine Sound Studio FS2004 version for the 206 and it works! What a difference, all for the princely sum of €8.90 I wonder what the differences are for an FSX version. Anyway, one happy bunny.
