August 17, 201114 yr The downloads show the configuration of that particular airline. If you want the HGS you will need to go into the pmdg part of the Fmc and enable the HGS in the equipment section. Some downloads should include the HGS as standard. (Qantas and AA off the top of my head)
August 17, 201114 yr The option selections that you make via the CDU (such as equipment, e.g the HGS) are saved on a per-livery basis. The downloadable liveries come with default selections, but you can change that if you like. It is covered in the introduction manual. August 17, 201114 yr I think you can turn this on in the FMC?Check out the options within the FMC and I am pretty sure you get an option to turn it on and off. On YouTube there's a few tutorial videos that explain setting the aircraft up via the FMC. Hope it helps a little. Regards Andy Sit at the back! It won't reverse into a mountain!
