Start-up status in FMS missing

Featured Replies

When I open the FMS to set the starup status I only have Cold-and-Dark, Long Turn and Short Turn status as choices NOT Ready-for-Takeoff. Whats wrong? I have reinstalled once AND updated with the fixes. Jackthe Swede in Spain

It says so in the PMDG737NGX Introduktion, page 47: "We have created some panel states that we thought might be desired byusers: Cold and DarkShort TurnLong TurnReady for Takeoff" There are some postings about this from August 5:th and 6:th but no answer to the problem. As I see it, people wanting to do the tutorial flight and start at the end of the runway, will have some problems, or??? Jackthe Swede in Spain

Jack, The default start up state is Ready for Take-off (minus some obvious things obviously).Delete any selected panel state in the start up line and it will default to the default. Hope it helps,

Mats Thank you. So deleting it in the FMS sets it to default AND does that mean I can save it again under the Ready for Takeoff name and it will be saved as RfT panel state?

I would think you could. Have not tried it myself. Let us know,
