August 17, 201114 yr After installing hotfix 3 (16AUG11) my sim freeze and finaly ctd just seconds before touchdown!!! Has someone the same problem and what to do???

August 18, 201114 yr Exactly what was happening to me after I applied the first fix. A complete lockup would occur as soon as I began to pitch up for the flare. I tried and autoland and it froze at the same moment for the autoland also. I could find no logical explanation. I used my task mgr monitor and there were no OOM or overtaxed CPU cores yet something caused it to lock up completely. I use full screen and I usually could not even exit the program without rebooting computer. MY SOLUTION: I uninstalled the fix and did a complete clean install of the original program and the liveries again and have had no problems of that nature since. I still am annoyed by the extra 9000 feet that is added to the radio altitude every time I reload a flight. Understand that has been fixed, but seems these fixes are causing other problems. I have decided to wait until the dust settles and they formally come out with an SP1 before I touch anything again. ParaNeu, were you having any such problems with the original download? Have you tried a complete uninstall and then a clean reinstall of the original along with a new download and install of the liveries? My first flights with the default NGX planes were trouble-free. I didn't begin having freezes until I had installed the add-on liveries. Doesn't make sense that these repaints could cause an issue but seems these "fixes" so far haven't solved the problem.
August 18, 201114 yr Author Your problem looks very close to my situation. I've got no problems with hotfix 2. I will try a complete uninstall and update to hotfix 2 and hope that we will get sp1 soon. thank you
August 19, 201114 yr everything great until an autoland touchdown...then the screen goes crazy with a multi color display. anyone else having this?
