August 18, 201114 yr This is by far my best landing on the NGX thus far. I don't think it gets any better than this. It was a standard flight from Canberra to Melbourne and there just so happened to be a crosswind. Without any autoland, I managed to ease this baby beautifully on the runway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NuwtaK3oLs

August 18, 201114 yr Very nice! I guess the only way you can top that is to try to simulate the KLM below. If you do make it, try the Tower view. You can see how extreme the Crab Maneuver is from that Camera Angle. Since no animation is possible in FSX Replay and I saw your Spoilers and Thrust Reversers Deploy I take it you were using FS Recorder? Paul Deemer

August 18, 201114 yr Author I did use FS Recorder for those who are wondering. It's amazing how easily one can do a crosswind landing with the HUD even though I feel a tad bit guilty when I use it. In the future, I'll be using the tower view. I might even make a short video explaining to those that are too lazy to read the Flight Crew Training Manual, how to land the bird just like the manual says and just how the pros do it. People tend to forget the flare and touchdown procedure and just do it based on feel.
August 18, 201114 yr I was thinking maybe he used FS Recorder to make the approach video then used Fraps for the Youtube Video? Paul Deemer
