August 19, 201114 yr I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. NCIX, newegg, Amazon. Where is it, Australia can't be the first to have it.It takes THREE EIGHT PIN connectors. There would be a bit more than a one off cost for this. "Oh look, power bill, !" Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. August 19, 201114 yr Usually the corsair PSU's and other good branded psu's handle the power efficiently , like the other psu's which are unbranded in fact pull a lot of power and waste it. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 19, 201114 yr Yes but I on't think you can make these in SLI look efficient. I suppose that is only 4 way sli of GTX 580, only. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 19, 201114 yr the two gpu's are like the two cards in sli, don't know if any other nvidia is compatible with the 580 in sli mode.It will boost performance in sli based games , but in fsx it won't. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 19, 201114 yr Author I don't think you could fit those in SLI. 3 slot? You'd need a pretty large gap between your PCI-e slots Di Agron Dell XPS 15 L502X | Intel i5-2540m @ 2.60GHz | 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (2x2GB) | nVidia GT525M | Seagate 500GB 7200RPM | 15" 1366x768 | 23" LG 1360x768 | Got a hardware question? August 19, 201114 yr I have been trying to steer people on the PMDG board over here for advice. People are posting on the NGX forum and quite honestly getting at best conflicting advice and at worst terrible advice that will not help them one bit. Unfortunately the Avsim mods are too busy deleting innocuous threads to actually do their job and move those topics over here. Mark. Mark CYYZ
August 19, 201114 yr Author I think we need to get a hardware Mod. Someone to move all hardware threads from other forums to the hardware ones. August 19, 201114 yr I don't think you could fit those in SLI. 3 slot? You'd need a pretty large gap between your PCI-e slotsMy Z68 has 2 GPU slots with 2 between each so I could put em in SLI but I think ASUS only have the 1 slot gap don't they? August 19, 201114 yr Your board supports both SLI & Crossfire. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 19, 201114 yr Yes and I am saying that it will support this card in SLI. The PSU won't, lets see i will need 6 8 pin connectors. AX1200 looks like it'll do the job. But I don't think my pocket 'll support this card. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 19, 201114 yr That's the problem, everything will fit but not the pocket :) Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 19, 201114 yr Author Lets face it. You will need a deep pocket for the 1 card, never mind 2. You'll need an even deeper pocket for the PSU, and an even deeper for your electricity bill. August 19, 201114 yr Ahhh. And a strong floor cos that thing will weigh a tonne! Have you seen this pic, makes it look like it is a, I don't know, no name for it. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 19, 201114 yr Why should it have a name that's a hot chick no wonder the damn thing costs so much . Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
