Fs2cew no go on reinstall

Featured Replies

After upgrading my pc, I began to reinstall all my addons to fs9. (fs9 installed on drive D, not on C\Program files as many people recommend)Firstly I installed the F1 ATR.I have the fs2crew for the F1 ATR on a cd,I installed it. then the update (from the fs2crew downloads).I ran fs9, first the cessna then loaded the ATR.No sign of fs2crew when clicking on the required gauge. In fact engines are on!ran the fix afterwards , but found no soundgauge.dll in the fs9 gauges folder. Looks to me like the whole install went wrong.I suspect the new os windows7 32 bit is the culprit; have been having problems with every addon reinstalled. Hi Eytan Please run the Flight1 Registry repair tool found on the Downloads page at www.flight1.com I suspect that's the problem. Make sure the FS2Crew installer auto-detects the location of the FS9/FSX root folder. Also make sure you run everything as an "Admin" and disabling UAC is also a good idea if it's on. Those things can often prevent various Config Managers from Updating panel.cfg files as Vista and Win 7 often block writing to files located in Program Files. Best,

But first1.Do I uninstall the fs2crew for the atr first? 2.The registry repair tool - it points the install exe to C\Program Files\MS Games\FS2004 ,which will not be the correct location of FS2004.The prevailing advice is NOT to install FS2004 under windows 7 in C, but in D. Eytan
