Does anyone know of an update for FS9 so that the wheels are visible and not the body of the plane sitting on the ground. I am using it for AI.ThanksAndrew

bumpAnyone?

>There won't be an update. Its missing parts due to the fact>it was created using FSDS. This is comming with all>FSDS created aircraft being used as AI.This is incorrect. It is a common myth that FSDS aircraft do not work in FS2004.Aircraft designed with FSDS 1.6 exhibit this behaviour, with the wheels not showing. This is because the animation tags changed with FS2002. Aircraft designed using FSDS2 will display the undercarriage correctly, since they use the correct animation tags for FS2002/4.So, the original designer has to go back and re-tag all of his moving parts. He may not want to do this, for whatever reason. Sometimes it can be a lot of work to re-tag parts, especially with a complicated model like this one.- Martin

Note I said "This is common with all FSDS created aircraft being used as AI."Some FSDS work perfectly in FS2004, some don't.This is an AI specific issue, it also did that with FSDS aircraft in MSFS2002. :)

All aircraft created using FSDS2 will work properly as AI. FSDS2 uses the same tags as GMAX, therefore the animations work the same. You can download my Pilatus PC-9 from the library and load it as AI, and see the correct animations.- Martin

Too bad that the C-17 wont be updated by Posky. It was one of my favorites. I noticed that you were using it for AI. Thats a pretty complex model for AI use. Must really hit your framerates hard, b ut then again, there aren't a whole lot of C-17's flying around unless you're near an Air Force base.

Owen Hewitt is redoing a G-Max version. I'm led to believe it'll be payware however. Since its his baby, there isn't much POSKY can do even if they wanted to release an update. :)

The POSKY C-17 works perfectly in FS9 (including undercarriage) as long as you answer NO to the popup message that asks you if you want to disable any functions.Click on attachment below (screenshot from FS2004)

Hi There!..In my case, answering "no" lead to FS crashing to dekstop with no further info... :) To my greatest disappointment, 'cause it was one of my favs in days of MSFS2k2... :(Bye There!..Max.

Hi John!..Surely gonna try this in the morning :)Thanks a lot!.. :)Bye There!..Max.

Oh this is awesome news, I'll have to try this fix as well as I also don't see landing gear or flap movement.
