Just wondering what you all are doing as far as the derated thrust settings for takeoff. Are you setting it and if so which option are you using? Thanks, Jim

I think most people use topcat for calculating it ...

The 737 is a very over powered plane.If you are making short flights with little fuel and passengers then a derate makes sense. Don't be afraid to play with it a bit !! Fred.

Get topcat - will give you flap and derate/including double derate settings to use based on your load and runway length
