January 6, 200422 yr I've got the Saitek X45 & to be honest I'd be happy to see the last of it.Seemed that neither Saitek nor anyone else ever made any 'proper' Win2000 drivers for it so even after hour upon hour of tweaking/reinstalling etc, I could never fly FS2002/4 with any kind of flight stability. So I disconnected it, packed it all up in the original box & it's now stored away.I'd be happy to see it go to a new home so if anyone's interested, just drop me a mail.Cheers :)JoshSydney, OZ
January 6, 200422 yr I dunno, you could check ebay for an F16/F22 FLCS and TQS, of course they're old and only work with a gameport, but with new potis and stuff ... Mine has been working for nearly 10 years.-Daniel

January 7, 200422 yr I'm still using my 5 year old Sidewinder 3D Pro analogue with CH Pro Pedals and it works a treat - not sure for how much longer though!! Can't see anything on the market that is as "desktop friendly" (compact)as my 3D Pro though. Just my 10P worth.KFD:-)
January 7, 200422 yr Sidewinder 3d pro. hmmmmmmmm from what I have read quite a few people have had problems with them due to some configuration problem in Win Xp. But as the old saying goes if it aint broke don't fix it.On another note, this is the first time since being a member that I have created a flame thread. I'm so chuffed. Does this mean that I'm now one of AVSIM's favoured son's. Wycliffe
January 8, 200422 yr >Aw come on Yellow5, I could buy a real plane for the cost of>that stick :-lol, and I have seen reports of unhappy users,>something I would not expect at that price.Where are we going? What kind of plane did you buy for $300.00 including shipping?Don't let all the reports lead you to believe it is a terrible product. I have had no problems thus far, ofcourse given time and use anything can go wrong. It works well for me and plenty of other users. This has been my experience with people. If they buy a product and are happy with it,they will tell 10 people. If they buy a product and they are not happy with it they will tell 100 people.Given the ratio you will read more posts from those that are unhappy than from those that are happy. Which is why there are more happy customers than unhappy. And I am very happy with my Cougar HOTAS:)
January 8, 200422 yr "What kind of plane did you buy for $300.00 including shipping?"LOL... not sure I'd even want to STAND next to a $300.00 airplane, let alone try to fly it.I too have had great luck with my Cougar. Though I've chosen to mod it, some folks seem to think that it MUST be modded. Mine performed flawlessly right out of the box, and continues to do so 18 months later. It just works.I don't regret at all changing from the Saitek HOTAS to the Cougar. One of my best flightsimming decisions ever.
