Any more HotFixes, or is it a wait for SP1

Has any decision been made on the release of any additional Hotfixes, or a release date for SP1. I really hope that all the Moaning about Hotfixes not fixing EVERYONE's Computer, like MAGIC, has not driven PMDG to decide to stop releasing any further fixes till SP1. If the Latest HOTFIX does not work for everyone, then realisically, it will be quite unlikely that a SP1 will work for everyone as well. Then what ? SP1 Hotfixes ??? Geoff

I hope they will still release further hoftixes ... If they really stopped releasing hotfixes just because of the nagging from some people its sad for those whose ngx is not workingIf they really decide to release sp1 next and its not working well I guess we will get sp1.1, sp1.2, sp1.2.1 and so on :) up to sp2.1 maybe. But I have great trust in PMDG that they will do the right thing and all is working fine for all of us in the end

i think there is a problem related to a recent Windows update and therefor, it could take some time to figure out what is wrong with it. But just a guess...

What sort of problem, ? Where did this come from ? Geoff

from microsoft. there is something called net.framework if i recall it correctly.. they release updates for it about every month and another user said, it could be related to this latest update (which was released at about the same time, when the NGX was released). That means, if you didnt run the latest win update, its possible, that everything works just as it should. But this is only a guess, i am not that into it, that i can tell if its right or wrong.

.net framework doesn't really get "updated" the old versions stay on the system and more get added. They won't roll out SP1 till Flexnet have fixed the activation issues. And please, I don't know how many times people have told you, as per forum rules, sign your real name.

It doesn't matter how unique your name is. Forum rules are forum rules, no exceptions.

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/245586-you-must-sign-your-full-real-name-to-posts-to-use-this-forum-posts-without-names-will-be-deleted/ Where does it say "if you post a little note you'll get excluded"? Nowhere. Follow the rules or leave. Simple as that. Everyone else has to, you are no exception.

Did not take long for this thread to get Hijacked by want-a-be Mods {sigh} Geoff

I apologise. I'll take the blame for that. On topic: I would assume that PMDG will want to fix the activation issues people are having so they can roll out the fix either in a hotfix, or in SP1. This progress is limited by the company who make the protection.

Thier silence would be more to the point.
