There's a way to get this working without disabling turbulence... I'll post something about the settings I'm using (which I got from a user here)

Ryan can you please post those settings for us? If there is a way to get rid of the S-Turning and Autopilot hunting issue and still have turbulence enabled that would definately be a plus. I kinda miss the rough weather when a storm is around.

The whole point was to get find a configuration where we dont have to use that disable turbulence and thermal near aircraft. Cause when that is on there is nothing even during bad storms. So will the above configuration do that? And will this solve the S-turning issue even though we have turbulence enabled?

Yes, it will.And if you are using EZYDOK, it is just awesome. Make sure you do up your seat belt.

Yes I will. It's bed time here, so will do later today. I must clarify what I said above about Vacume around aircraft, I have not noticed any abnormal behavoir with turbulence enabled (and thermal)in fsx, and it does seem very realistic. To me anyway. A real life pilot would be a better judge than me, and also users of the NGX as well. If you don't like the tweaks, well you can change back easily.

I am doing a flight with your settings now. I notice you don't have any wind smoothing enabled in FSUIPC or turbulence disabled anywhere. If I run into a storm with these settings I can tell it will be a rough ride! Just curious though, what setting in there is preventing the PMDG from S-turning or Nav Hunting now that smoothing is off and turbulence is enabled?

Well as I thought some winds came up and the Plane kept going back and forth. So put wind smoothing back on in fsuipc and it straighted out. However I just noticed Activesky released Service Pack 3 yesterday. Gonna install that and Try Jim's settings that he posted on the Hi-Fi Site in the forum.

I just saw those settings, but what exactly are those settings good for, why are they so special that they got stickied?
