August 24, 201114 yr It seems that i have a Vsync problem. Have a look at the picture. Vsync is turned on in both my fsx.cfg and application controlled by Nvidia Inspector. What can i do about it? August 24, 201114 yr You need to run the tool from Bejote (see the intro doc on the NGX for the link) and there is a fix there for the vsync that will be added to your cfg file. Mark. Mark CYYZ

August 24, 201114 yr Hey isn't that Radar Contact ? Is it available for FSX ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 24, 201114 yr Radar contact has been out on FSX for ages. But back on topic.... August 24, 201114 yr Moderator I don't see any Vsync problem. Looks fine to me. Also, the Bojote fix for Vsync was for AMD cards, IIRC. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
August 24, 201114 yr Oh yeah even I do not see any problem , did your FPS drop ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 24, 201114 yr No. He's running at 63.8FPS on a 60Hz monitor with V-sync on. It shouldn't go above 60 Di Agron Dell XPS 15 L502X | Intel i5-2540m @ 2.60GHz | 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (2x2GB) | nVidia GT525M | Seagate 500GB 7200RPM | 15" 1366x768 | 23" LG 1360x768 | Got a hardware question? August 25, 201114 yr Author I use EZDok and when i look at the FO PFD or MCP i am not able to read it. It is flickering. Regards Martin Pedersen (DK) ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 I7 930 2.8GHZ (OC 4.0GHZ) 3x2Gb 1333 Mhz Kingston HyperX Nocthua NHD14
August 26, 201114 yr Moderator No. He's running at 63.8FPS on a 60Hz monitor with V-sync on. It shouldn't go above 60 well if he's not getting tearing then Vsync is working and I would suspect the FPS counter's accuracy. Other than that, is he having any problems - stuttering, CTD's, etc. Considering that if all else is working, if the only thing unusual is the FPS display - I'd just turn it off and get back to flying. August 28, 201114 yr I too can't see a vsync problem with the screenshot. FPS counter in FS goes way above 60 when set to unlimited, mine does. It's normal.( yes, it actually is refresh rate of monitor with vsync on) But he is in windowed mode, Try full screen. does it do the same? Ron.
August 28, 201114 yr An indepth discussion of FPS counter and vsync here; http://www.simforums.com/forums/need-a-genius_topic38859_post228316.html?KW=frame+rates+go+above+60+when+vsync#228316 Ron.
August 28, 201114 yr Author The FO displays and cdu is unreadable from the captains side. But maybe thats not a vsync problem? Regards Martin Pedersen (DK) ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 I7 930 2.8GHZ (OC 4.0GHZ) 3x2Gb 1333 Mhz Kingston HyperX Nocthua NHD14
August 28, 201114 yr That's just a FSX/anti-aliasing limitation. In reality, the field of view of the captain isn't that zoomed out. The pilots actually have to look down to see the displays. If you zoom in to 0.7-1 they should be clear.
