Featured Replies

It seems that i have a Vsync problem. Have a look at the picture. Vsync is turned on in both my fsx.cfg and application controlled by Nvidia Inspector. What can i do about it? 6-1.png

You need to run the tool from Bejote (see the intro doc on the NGX for the link) and there is a fix there for the vsync that will be added to your cfg file. Mark.

Hey isn't that Radar Contact ? Is it available for FSX ?

Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

Radar contact has been out on FSX for ages. But back on topic....

I don't see any Vsync problem. Looks fine to me. Also, the Bojote fix for Vsync was for AMD cards, IIRC. Vic

No. He's running at 63.8FPS on a 60Hz monitor with V-sync on. It shouldn't go above 60

well if he's not getting tearing then Vsync is working and I would suspect the FPS counter's accuracy. Other than that, is he having any problems - stuttering, CTD's, etc. Considering that if all else is working, if the only thing unusual is the FPS display - I'd just turn it off and get back to flying. I too can't see a vsync problem with the screenshot. FPS counter in FS goes way above 60 when set to unlimited, mine does. It's normal.( yes, it actually is refresh rate of monitor with vsync on) But he is in windowed mode, Try full screen. does it do the same? Ron.

The FO displays and cdu is unreadable from the captains side. But maybe thats not a vsync problem?

That's just a FSX/anti-aliasing limitation. In reality, the field of view of the captain isn't that zoomed out. The pilots actually have to look down to see the displays. If you zoom in to 0.7-1 they should be clear.
