August 25, 201114 yr That looks just like my BSOD event.I get this on occasion but have not really pinned it down. One way I get this is on a saved flight at trust reduction altitude if I don't hard code the altitude into the CDU.Another time I got it when on a fresh flight and decent was initiated by VNAV. Seems to be when the FMC changes the CDU pages from takeoff to climb and when it changes from cruise to descent.Dan.
August 25, 201114 yr i had the same appcrash when starting fsx because i had the ngx saved as the default flight when fsx started, once removed i have not had this problem again. hope this helps. thank you,Jim MSI A520M-A PRO,AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 8 Core, 16 Threads 4.1Ghz,Arctic Freezer 36 ARGB Black Edition CPU Cooler,MSI VENTUS 2X Nvidia RTX 4070 12GB Graphics Card,Corsair 32GB Vengeance LPX (2x16GB) 3200Mhz DDR4 Memory,Gigabyte UD750GM 750W Gold Rated Modular PSU,Kingston NV3 2TB NVME M.2 GEN 4 SSD.

August 25, 201114 yr Author Can you provide some more information - when does this occur, what leads up to it etc? Sorry my bad. It occurs when selecting the aircraft. I did try to save a flight before. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
August 25, 201114 yr Author Yes it works now. The cause must of been saving the flight. Many thanks for you trouble shots. Jools J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
August 25, 201114 yr i have this issue occasionally, delete the fs startup file from the fsx.cfg which loads the default then resave I personally think it has something to do with a panel state that is corrupted could be wrong, easy to live with Wayne Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3
August 26, 201114 yr Author i have this issue occasionally, delete the fs startup file from the fsx.cfg which loads the default then resave I personally think it has something to do with a panel state that is corrupted could be wrong, easy to live with I am having a bit of trouble with the panel state. For example the PMDG starts on the other second monitor. I was messing with them alot. And re-scaling. Multi-screens seem very unstable with FSX. This is a (none SLI) GTX480. I had a dell XPS with SLI nividea cards and that worked like a dream. Compared to this i7 core GTX480. It works at the moment anyway J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
August 28, 201114 yr Author The problem has come back. I tried deleting all saved flights. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
August 28, 201114 yr Author Well I have fixed it again. By selecting the PMDG from within FSX. And tinkering with the moniter resoultion. The PMDG doesn't like it when you start moving panels about. It would seem. There is certainly some conflict going on with the multi monitor set up on my system. If I can get to the bottom of this it would help me alot. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
