January 7, 200422 yr I have just downloaded and installed the latest FS2004 version of Bill Grabowskis' ERJ panel - coupled with Nick Bottamers' a/c model. Considering that this panel started out life in FS2000, it still has a LOT going for it - and dare I say it - would probably have to win the first prize for such a detailed panel coupled with longevity! What other freeware FS2000 panel with such advanced system implementation is still able to be used with FS2004?Good one Bill!!Barry
January 7, 200422 yr Hi Barry,I downloaded the ERJ panel yesterday and tried it out. Yes, very nice panel.Maybe you or somebody else can help me out regarding the AP approach functionality. When intercepting the ILS I clicked the AP APPR button, but nothing happened. The AC continued on the heading and didn't follow the ILS. I've examined the docs but haven't found any clue. Any idea?Ulf B
January 7, 200422 yr I believe you have to first engage the heading button (after receiving instructions from ATC to final heading before intercepting ILS). You should then have both HDG and AP buttons engaged. AP will take over as soon as ILS is intercepted.Hope this helps.

Reinstalled ProjectERJ's aircraft and double checked that I got the FS2004 update files right. Reinstalled the panel. And now the AP approach mode worked all right.Ulf B
January 7, 200422 yr Hi,Is the panel still at the fsnordic site (I believe it's www.fsnordic.com)?I can't wait for Bill's MD-11 panel, apparently due in April '04.Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
January 7, 200422 yr >Is the panel still at the fsnordic site (I believe it's>www.fsnordic.com)?Yes, Bill Grabowski's version 4.0 is still at fsnordic.I use Bill's panel that's customized by Project ERJ. Downloaded from this site (erjgrab_pe_v4-01.zip).Ulf B
