Have you tried Evolution? I am using it and it is much better than the original. The only drawback is that you can't turn it on from the VC.

I was one of the testers of the original product. I tried the Evolution package and was not impressed. The original team didn't have anything to do with it. If they had the VC would have been modified for the updates and much more would have been addressed. It's a shame it's being marketed as a legitimate upgrade. I'll also add that when trying to use these textures with the original package results in a CTD. Maybe someone can contact the author (I could do it when I get some time) and see if he can make a mod for the original package. His textures look great but 'Evolution' only compatibility is a show stopper.

OK, I understand your frustration for not getting more features in the upgrade, so am I, but I have already paid for it and it is not inferior to the original IMHO. And to be honest I don't care weather Feelthere was involved or not, they should have fixed the CG problem with a patch. I don't think it was that hard since a user was able to fix it. Since you have bought it, I suggest you give it a try, you have nothing to lose. I got myself a nice sound pack along with these textures and upgraded FS2Crew and having fun now. There is the occasional dive when using Managed speed and NAV decent but I can always predict it and use Selected speed and the CG problem which I found a fix for but these problems were already in the original.
