C337 brakes

Featured Replies

Has anyone been able to get differential braking to work? My toe brakes seem to activate both wheels at once.

Bert

Confirmed, the differential brakes work only over a rather small range. My bad, sorry. Please change the differential braking scalar in the cfg file from 0.2 to 0.7

That edit just increases the differential braking capability for the left & right brake. FSX can't distinguish between left and right variable braking so it must be a calibration problem with your setup. No harm done if you increase it to 1.0 but that shouldn't solve the asymmetry problem.I say should because in FSX you never can't be 100% sure...

Hi Bernt, There must be something else going on. With identical axis assignments, calibrations, etc I get nice differential braking in the Baron. With the Skymaster and the edit above, I get symmetrical braking when depressing the left pedal and no braking with the right pedal. I'm confused ... smile.png

Ok, found another bug in the cfg file. brake mapping was set to left for both main wheels. Strange enough full right brake application still made the 337 turn right.... point.2 = 1, -12.2, 3.8, -3.63, 1500, 1, 0.88, 0, 0.2625, 2.0624, 0.85, 11.0, 13.0, 2, 152, 200 ------ > -------- the 1 in the 3rd line (point.2) needs to be changed to 2 Nevertheless the differential braking scale should be left at the 'new' 0.7 value

Hi Bernt ! Thanks for the quick fixes here! She flies just so handy! Best wishes! Andreas EDDN

Best regards,
