September 4, 201114 yr ..... no matter when and where, 95% of the traffic warning I get are on my 11 O'Clock, weird, no ?????????? Cheers Yair
September 4, 201114 yr Have you tried different airports? VoxATC only creates traffic, AFAIK, from your departure and arrival airports. Traffic you see then should all be coming and going to the same place. I'm not sure if this addresses your issue but one thing to check out.
September 4, 201114 yr Usually, it's either at my 11, 12, or 1 o'clock as well. Does VoxATC create inbound traffic with the Ultimate Traffic bridge for v6, or is it still departure and arrival? I would like to see air traffic coming and going from other airports that I'm passing. Sadly, I think the only way to have that is to go back to default ATC or use another ATC program that recognizes FSX AI traffic rather than control it. Maybe VoxATC can do both in the future? Control AI Traffic at destination and arrival airports, and recognize AI Traffic generated by FSX in between. I love flying casually in a Cessna 172 to explore, plus I love to tie it all in with creative stories. Read about my latest flight story and blog here: http://starrfoxx-flys.blogspot.com/
September 7, 201114 yr Author I tried different airport & different routs, and, it's all the same, 95% Traffic is 11 O' Clock, ... this VoxATC is weird ..... I'm actually, swapping between the generic ATC & VoxATC, & to add a scene of realism I'M listening to live ATC ..... real mishmash ha !!!!

That's not too bad of an idea, for the following reason: After you take off and are being handled by VoxATC center, you could switch on default ATC, tune in Center, and turn up the AI traffic with FSX. As a result, you'll have some traffic to fly with and ATC chatter with different voices talking with the AI traffic. You'll know when the REAL Center calls you, because it'll be a VoxATC voice. Whatever you do, DON'T contact Center on default ATC. You know how it goes on long flights -- they pass you on to multiple centers back and forth needlessly. Just use default ATC to listen to the chatter, since it'll apply to the actual AI traffic being handled by FSX. As you get closer to your destination airport, you'll start hearing VoxATC talking with it's AI Traffic. This is when you'll want to disable FSX AI Traffic and turn you Voice Sound Option off for FSX so you don't have to listen to them. This is not a bad idea, honestly. I'm going to give this a try. It certainly is a decent compromise to get AI Traffic in between airports. I'll let you know how it works out on my next flight. Hi Starrfoxx *******!, Is it really that bad that we have to go through that hassle just to get a sense of an immersion factor with the AI with voxatc? Now that's what I call an unfinished product. Sr Tegwyn should be able to have had this already implemented in his ATC program. But wait, I know, this is his on-going project still needing fixing and charging for upgrades until the whole program does what it's supposed to do. I see now. peace
September 7, 201114 yr The program is far from perfect. So much so that I may not buy it after I am done with the demo. That said, I think we can do without the sarcasm and venom towards the person when discussing the shortcomings of the program. I do agree that this, along with nearly every FSX addon that costs more than the actual program, is priced way too highly.
September 7, 201114 yr Technically, there may not be a way to do ATC controlled traffic and AI recognition, because of the way FSX was designed. That's not the developers fault. There are two other ATC programs and they can't do both either. If only there was a way to "fix" the default ATC, but I'm sure that's already been tried. Hi Timmer, I agree, and my appoliges to everyone for being sarcastic. Very non-prof of me and It won't happen again....My fault. I'm just a little fustrated of what had happen to me and I get a little silly sometimes. I'm over it now so no more jokes/insults. I'm done and will move on. peace
