September 4, 201114 yr Captains, I seem to have a problem with my FMC on certain flight plans. I use Flight Aware to get the route information I want and use that to create PMDG flight plans on Simroutes which has always worked for me. So I planned to go from JFK to Zurich and I when I insert that into the FMC, I got the "unable to load F-PLN" message in the scratchpad. Tried a new airport (KJFK-LSGG) and that didn't work. Then my flight from Sydney to Honolulu works. Any suggestions? Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
September 4, 201114 yr I had that same problem, I do not recall if it was in the PMDG FSX MD11, the CS FSX MD80 or both, but once I started getting rid of the dash when I saved my plans I never had that problem again. I always save them as a FSX plan so I can use them on the PMDG MD11 and CS MD80. Save as KJFKLSGG instead of KJFK-LSGG. Rod Storer
September 4, 201114 yr I also had this problem. Usually when the MD11 prog was running and had to make a new flt plan. The way I do it now is to keep the fltplan prog open and it will normally work. If you had already a plan that didn't work just rename it. For example JFKLAX you could rename it to JFKLAX1. When accepted in the FMS you can close the flightplanner again. John
