September 4, 201114 yr Got a Question to you Experts.I see in many Videos of "Just Planes" of the 737NG on each and every landing I see that as soon as the Plane touches down(rear wheels) I hear the Auto Spoiler is deployed, once the front wheels are lay on the tarmac the pilot engages the Reverse Thrusts. My question is , how do you instruct the NGX that as soon as it touches down , the Spoilers (auto Spoilers) would be deployed? September 4, 201114 yr The auto speed brakes works in 2 cases: at touch down with lever armed, or when selecting thrust reversers wich mechanically arms the speed brake lever also if not already armed. This is the same function that deploys spoilers on RTO. Regards Andrea Daviero
