I've tried modifying the aircraft.cfg file.. with some success..If you like, open up this file with Notepad (after making a backup, just in case) and edit two lines under "contact points"point.1 = 1, 2.4969, -5.0798, -6.65, 3500, 1, 0.8, 0, 0.3,2.5, 0.99, 5, 5, 2, 0, 0 point.2 = 1, 2.4969, 5.0798, -6.65, 3500, 2, 0.8, 0, 0.3, 2.5, 0.99, 5, 5, 3, 0, 0 Note parameters 4 and 10 are changed from the original..Let me know if this helps!

Thanks Bert, I have edited the two lines under 'contact point' as you suggested. It looks much better now, almost perfect!Jozef http://www.dse.nl/~joker32/pictures/signature.jpg

Thanks for the tip! Downloading now.

Ain't she a beauty!! And the VC is one of the best I've seen. The flight model is also excellent. Many thanks Guy, you've made a lot of people happy with this one. I also had framerate problems when flying close to the ground, although great FPS when you have some altitude. But I didn't like this as the aircraft lends itself so well to low altitude sight seeing. I love following roads real low and fast. Last night I clipped a telephone pole and that was the end of that flight. Anyhow, I tried both fixes above and they didn't help much. The best (temporary I hope) fix I've found is setting the VC quality to low. It helps FPS a lot and the VC is done so well that it still looks good.David

Yes! Great modeled plane, great VC and very well done! Thank you! It really does fly well. But, come on guys, you are calling this thing a beauty? I have to say it has got to be one of the ugliest planes flying. Talk about function over asthetics. It does what it was designed to do, but that is it. I don't know that I can say it is a beauty, I think it looks more like a beast. Maybe beauty is in the eye of the beholder. All I can say is, it is fun to fly, but ugly to look at. Thanks,John

It is a neat bird, but don't forget about the awesome Fiesler 256 Storch (same bird) Tim Conrad published a couple months ago. Also great 2D and 3D panels with incredible FDE characteristics. The Storch has several repaints out and looks more like the WW II era plane than the rather slick (just out of the box) Morane.Having said that I have 'em both and enjoy them very much.-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what

Dakota -I just had to respond - the Morane... ugly?No way!Have you ever seen a Norseman? Now that is a dog of an aeroplane.Yeuch! That awkward, bow-legged undercart. My stomach churns just to look at it. Useful bush plane though.Compared to that, the Morane is a vision of loveliness.Brian
