This in itself is ok but i heavily use the resume function so i really could do with a Download proggy!I have just Downloaded Download accelerator plus 7 but it doesn't want to resume the downloads on reconnection. Can anyone help or alternatively shout very loudly at BT to fit my line with ADSL so i can have broadband!!please helpDaren Tech Spec: Intel I7 6700k @ 4ghz / ASUS Z190Pro / Nvidia GeoForce GTX 1080 4095mb / Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000 / 3 x Samsung SSD 1TB Windows 10 64bit
January 14, 200422 yr Howdy Daren,Here is a link for LeechGet. I use it as it is free for personal use and has no adware or spyware. Works excedingly well.http://www.leechget.net/en/I use FlashGet too but it is shareware. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
January 15, 200422 yr GetRight is what I use, should work for you. Have you tried reinstalling it? If you right-click on the link for a file, do you get the "download with GetRight" option? Just some ideas.sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
January 15, 200422 yr HI Daren,I feel for ya on the broadband issue, I have been campaigning for our area in norfolk for ages now, dont hold your breath will ya!!! ;).Anyway, Getright is your best bet, sometimes it can have problems capturing some links, you can either right-click the link and hit "download with getright", or hold down Alt-Ctrl when click a link.CheersDan.
January 17, 200422 yr Author Thanks guys, I have downloadedthe two suggested programs and will try out in due course. Dan, I have too a soft spot for Getright but the problem is that when i click on a download link the default method apperas. I have tried right clicking and it just gives me a getright error page on explorer. Is there anyway to change the settings in windows so that Getright is my only default download program? Anyone please???Daren Tech Spec: Intel I7 6700k @ 4ghz / ASUS Z190Pro / Nvidia GeoForce GTX 1080 4095mb / Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000 / 3 x Samsung SSD 1TB Windows 10 64bit
