RFC Button control version

Featured Replies

Hi, I have an RFC regarding the button control version for iFly737NG.After takeoff you can choose (dynamically) commands for the P.N.F. in the left and right command window.Nearly I always take-off with flaps-1 setting. After having selected LNAV-VNAV in sequence in the right command window,it would be nice to have the flaps 5/1/0 command preselected in the left command window, based on the take off flaps setting. So for example:If you take off with flaps 5, the flaps 1 command should be automatically preselected,if taking off with flaps 1, the flaps up command should be preselected, etc No big deal, but maybe you can have a look. Hi Egbert, That's already there. If you're not seeing that behavior, it's because you're not following order of the calls properly as per the profile: VNAP A or B. Cheers,
Ahh, thus a pilot error smile.png As far as I recal I use VNAP A.I will check this weekend and report back.

Hi, I did 2 more test and I doesn't function as you suggested, at least not on my system. (V1.6)In the right-CMD window, after take off I press in sequence: LNAV - VNAV - CMD A (after 2000 ft or so)Then the left-CMD window shows CLIMB thrust, which I select after CMD-A.The the left-CMD window shows LVLCH which it shouldn't because I'm already in VNAV mode.I would have expected Flaps Up, since I took off with flaps 1. Please advice,Egbert

Hi Egbert, I just tested it and it worked properly for me using Flaps 5 (flaps 5 set in FMC). This is the order of the FS2Crew buttons I pushed for NADP 1: 1. Gear Up2. HDG Select3. Climb Thrust4. Level Change5. Set Flaps Up Speed.6. **Flaps 1 then automatically appeared in the left window**.7. Flaps Up I think the problem is you're selecting VNAV way to early... it should be selected "after" the Flaps are up. I know it's a bit strict this way if you want the flaps calls to skip automatically in prop sequence, but with button control things are more scripted compared to the voice version. Cheers, and so on.
