Hi Guys,,! I having problems to initialize the IRS position on the FMC whe I started from cold and dark..I canot set map by that situation..any body know what can i do to resolve the problem because only the FMC show SET IRS HDG instead (SET IRS POSITION) how can initialize from the FMX show me to put (set IRS POSITION) IN the initial reference in orde to load the flight plan on the MAP???

Put the irs switches to off, let the lights extinguish, Them move the irs switches to nav. That sjokke sort your problem :)

Do not move the switches to "ALIGN", move them directly to "NAV". I'm pretty sure this is covered in the tutorial.

It helps to go to the FMC and set up where you are (position) IE airport follow the tutorial.
