FS Limiter and Alacrity

Featured Replies

I use FS Limiter on a 2 screen FSX setup which means I set it to 60 fps to actually get 30 fps - a known factor. If I run Ken Salter's excellent Alacrity clean-up program first using the default "Vista" profile (I'm Windows 7) the FS limiter then defaults to 30 fps giving me only 15 when FSX starts. Clearly some process being shut down is causing this.Has anyone else run across this and has any solutions?CheersChris

I use both programs with no problem. I think if Alacrity was shutting down the service you would lose the limiter all together rather than just having it change the setting. Mark.

Launch Alacrity first and have it start FPS_Limiter - as the monitored application.

Well Paul, I tried that but no joy. Also Alacrity did not restart afterwards. What order do you have the programs to start/ be monitored? CheersChris

I have it just start one, Chris - TrackIR, as here:- --Name---------------Args--------------Delay----------------Prio-------Affin--------Win. Style-----TypeTrackIR5.exe----TrackIR5.exe----------0-----------------Normal-----All-----------Normal-------Monitored I start FSX from a batch file, which selects the aircraft, scenario and control set that I want to fly with.
