October 9, 201114 yr Hey all.... If suddenly encountered a strange glitch... When I hit F12 (top down view), and pull back all the way, I find that the entire earth is blanketed with a light/dark blue haze. I've tried to fix this by messing around with the visibility settings in ASE, but to no avail. I've also tried starting FSX without ASE running, and the problem is still there. Anyone have any ideas? October 10, 201114 yr Really? Thanks for this information, we've been spending lots of time trying to troubleshoot this "Active Sky Bug"! The link that identifies it http://forum.avsim.n...l__fog__st__375 its post 385 and it appears DX10 may also have the issue since its shader 3/4. Bojote also covers it in his readme as a known issue When under HEAVY fog (no visibility) effects such as fireworks or smoke coming out of industrial buildings will be visible in the distance. This is due to this effects being hardcoded INSIDE FSX and being Shader 2.0 compatible only. This same problem can be experienced when usingFSX in DX10 preview mode. Its barely noticeable. When in 'Map mode' view, if you zoom out to the max setting, you'll see the earth completely white due to how 'fog' effects are implemented inthe Shader 3 mod. Stephen Munn
