FSUIPC settings

Featured Replies

Hi there! Can anyone tell me what settings they have in FSUIPC while running ActiveSky?Specifically: Clear all weather and weather settings off?And what about Winds and Clouds Etc. ?I want to eliminate any 'exterior' weather, and allow AS to control the environment 100%.I already have disabled FSINN & FSX weather...FYI: I fly the LEVEL D 767 FSX and PMDG 737 NGX ... PC: Windows 7, GTX 470, TH2G.AMD Phenom II X2 55 3200 Mhz, Dual Core.6GB RAM Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark,Yes all weather settings off, and then if you like with registered version of FSUIPC you can set additional wind smoothing. Do not use visibility/graduation options in FSUIPC as they may conflict. There is a recent thread which indicates that with PMDG 737NGX, turning off all fs turbulence effects with FSUIPC options gives best results.

Where can i find this setting..... visibility/graduation options in FSUIPCOr is this a value. My problem is that in the decent of my pmdg ngx suddely the plane is going to clim instead futher decent.I think it is active sky evolution, i have this original from HiFi.Pmdg is whit hotfix 4 even original from pmdg. Can you help me please.

My recommendation for running big-iron like myself - use DWC mode in ASE with whatever other options you wish to set. In FSIUPC registered, disable all FSUIPC weather affects including all smoothing options except, put a checkbox on the Winds tab -> Suppress these wind effects 'Turbulance'. Leave gusts and variance unchecked. DWC does the smoothing stuff for you.
