October 13, 201114 yr Hi guysjust trying to reinstall RC onto my new pc. I have my new activation key and I have pasted it into the registration window paneland entered it. This panel then shut down (as it should) but when I start rc again the registration panel appears again asking for the key again.I made sure that the key no. is right by pasting it from the email with no spaces before or after it.I was thinking - my previous pc was Vista 32bit. My new pc is Windows7 64bit. Could this be the problem??Need help to sort this guys, this is my favourite addon for the 737NGx. October 15, 201114 yr Set up your shortcut to RC with a property set to run as admin, a program security level privilege, not a user access privilege. Let us know if this resolves your problem.
October 17, 201114 yr Commercial Member you're either running windows 7 or vista, and you're not starting rc as admin. logging in as administrator, or logging in with an account that is part of the administrators group, isn't enough or you request a key for 1234678899 and your product id is really -1234678899 or you entered the key, and left a space or something extra at the end of the key if none of that heps, send me a screen shot, of your registration screen, with the product id and the key both clearly visible. jd JD Read my blog
October 19, 201114 yr Author Hi Rc guys,Thanks for your replies, hope we can get this sorted. I've included a couple of shots as requested. The program seemed to install ok and I have a fully registered copy of 'Fsuipc4'. Just wondering if when Icopied the installer over from my old pc that I may have left some file behind. [copied over the installer fileand two '.bin' files], but as I say It seemed to install ok. Anyway, see what you think. Many thanks - Jim.
