October 14, 201114 yr On real a takeoff, aileron input is almost always needed to maintain wings-level. But, in FSX, I see almost no need of aileron input on take off. Is this right or NGX is too much stable compared to reality? Teo Halfen Teo Halfen
October 14, 201114 yr Author How can the AFDS control the aircraft with the autopilot off? I didn't know that. Regards, Teo Halfen Teo Halfen
October 14, 201114 yr It can't... What weather conditions do you have on take off? No or little crosswind on take off will require almost no input to keep on track... Andrew Andrew Entwistle
October 14, 201114 yr I don't think this is the NGX simulation. FSX doesn't cope very well with high sideslip conditions. You don't need to put wheel into wind to keep wings level, unlike in reality. Kevin Hall
October 31, 201114 yr Author I edited the aircraft.cfg (well, I know it's not recomended by the PMDG team and that it voids any support):pitch_stability = 0.6roll_stability = 0.5yaw_stability = 0.6Well, it seems nice to fly with a bit of instability and I guess it's more realistic, but just a guess. You have always to make little corrections, just as in the real world.Teo Halfen Teo Halfen
