Headset Recommendations

Hi everyone, I'm in the market to get a new headset/headphones and was hoping some of you might give me some ideas - looking at about $200 NZD (160USD/115 Euro). Tempted with the Logitech G35, but I have a horrible feeling they won't pick up a line in input - I run RC4 from another machine, so rely on the line in on my main computer for the RC audio. Will use for FS (of course!) and gaming mainly - listening to music and watching films et is a lower need. No bluray here. While not a dealbreaker, Dolby enhancement (5.1, 7.1 etc) would be nice. Any ideas? Thanks, Leo

Plantronics .355... Best headset I ever used, and mine broke just recently and Plantronics gave me a brand new one for free with a brand new warranty, in case it happens again.

The Creative Fatality headset I'm using hits the sweet spot for me. Comfortable enough for 1+hrs of use, extremely clear crisp audio, and can be had for $45 when on sale. I also used my older David Clark aviation headset with an adapter plug.... Unfortunately both give me headset hair and the girls hate that...

You might want to take a look at AKG:http://eu.akg.com/akg-product-detail-eu/ghs-1.htmlI switched from sennheisser to AKG, very comfortable to wear on long flights and excellent sound quality.

Cheers,
