Hello,Since the release of the NGX, I've always noticed that the sound quality of the altitude callouts is a little bad. The callouts just don't sound very clear to me. Maybe in your opinion it's not important but in my opinion it doesn't sound that great. The J41 has the same altitude callouts but they sound perfectly fine, very clear. The NGX's callouts are much worse. For example, look at this video, it's an NGX video but with real sounds added. Sounds pretty different from the NGX to me.

That did sound pretty good, but you do realize that the audio was actually recorded from a real aircraft flight deck and dubbed into the simulator right?

I hear ya. That's why I replaced them with my own crystal clear ones. Way better now.

I have to agree with Arjen, that callouts are the only thing i don´t like very much in the 737NGX. I find them low. I have seen many videos of the 737 and sound really louder and better.BTW , the PMDG MD11 callouts sound superb.Best. Miquel Egea.

How can I reduce the sound volume ONLY of the vc ? I fiddled with sound settings within the FMC but the only way I found is to lower the speakers volume.... Thx

Since 50 is the default value for all FSX volume sliders I simply keep 'em there. In conjunction with NGX default volume levels the soundscape sounds perfect to me.
