Wilco Airbus Evolution vol 1 problem

Featured Replies

Hello friends. I recently downloaded the Wilco Airbus pack 1 & 2 and have installed in FSX Acceleration running under Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. The problem so far Happens with A318 and A319 panels, which makes me think that also happen to the rest of the panels Airbus.Problems occur here using up FSX real weather and real meteorology FSInn. When I'm around at level flight the plane starts to behave weird, it costs to reach cruising level and N1 loses power, it falls to 16% or so and does not respond to changes in speed or in the FCU nor with the thrust levers, but when I load FSX default weather "sky clear" the plane takes control and power increases to Climb desirable levels of plus or minus 86% of N1, another thing that happens is simply that the engines suddenly turn off causing the plane to lose control of course. This happens when I use actual meteorology FSInn and FSX. In short: loading FSX real weather, the plane Loss Control of speed loading real FSInn weather, the plane Loss Control Also shut down engines. the question I make miself is why always happen this issue when I'm just about to reach cruise level? Today I'm gonna test with my last purchase REX v2,0 and to check the behaviour with using REX weather engine. ANy comments, remarks, etc Thanks in advance !!!

You could try Open Cloud but it is payware - just google it. Prices are reasonable - and it seems okay in my PMDG and others with regards to engines - this could be my computer and just one of the lucky ones. Hypnotized.gif Another is FSrealWX lite (free for the moment)

Bursco's tips are great things since you may see the known FSInn weather bug there.

Weather Bug in FSInn/FSX (affects Speeds, Temperatures, and Climb [above FL245]) The resolution is to turn off FSInn's weather when flying above FL245 and use an alternate such as FSX's weather. There are two ways.
  • This is an issue with FSX/Simconnect/weather. When flying at high altitudes (above FL245) there's a miscommunication between FSX and FSInn concerning the temperature. This TAT problem isn't experienced when flying below FL245.
    • Turn the weather off by default (Inn Control Panel -> Set -> Weather [Check/Uncheck]). With this option You will in effect use whatever alternate weather you already have in effect with Flight Simulator.
    • Or (what I consider preferred) turn it off or on on-the-fly by clicking the CAVOK bottom to turn FSInn's Weather off or clicking the VATSIM cloud to turn it on. When you turn FSInn's weather off, use FSX's download real weather +15 minute option. To resume FSInn's VATSIM weather, just click on the cloud next to VATSIM

So maybe try the freeware FSrealWX, it allows VATSIM downloads too, so you should be very ok.A quote from their website.FSrealWX will always remain freeware Since you already have REX, it's a good idea to use their weather engine though, which also is VATSIM connected if needed.
