Don't understand anything of those pictures... Still I have the same problem1. delete the default autoloaded flight plan in the default gps that makes crazy the aspen (almost the label maybe)2. correct the bug of the label of where is pointing the course. In my case should be LEBL (because it is at that bearing and distance).. but it says LEMT (the flight plan loaded automatically that I don't know how to delete)by the way.. once I set a direct to the xp gps.. how do I delete it? I mean not introducing any other.. Just clean it. The CLR key does nothing. The clear flight plan.. just clears intermediate waypoints......mmmm would be nice to have someone from Carenado or XP to know if this is a bug or not. Anyway.. thanks for the patience of Bert and Coolp

Do you have a flightplan loaded in FSX?If so, the Carenado GPS may be picking up that information..Try flying without a flightplan in FSX, and create the flightplanon the RXP unit, just like in real life.See if that solves it!

the problem is that I don't load any flight plan... When I start FSX just loads the plane.. and it (the gps default one) just loads a flight plan that should be somewhere that I created time ago.. but don't remember).. And if I go to my documents I don't find a flight plan like that... .. so this is all extrange.. because I don't load any flight plan. It loads by his own.

I just tried loading a flightplan in FSX and that causes the problem. The Carenado unit will pick up that flightplan and show the waypoint info from there, but at the same time show the desired track for the RXP unit, so that is a mess ifthe RXP flightplan does not match the FSX flightplan..Regarding cancelling a Direct To:Push the Direct To button, the Menu button, and select Cancel.

In terms of getting out of an existing FSX flightplan, end the flight.Hit ESC and end the flight. Then position your aircraft at the airport you want and start the flight. The flightplan should be empty.

Finally I was able to delete that damm flight plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after 2 hours trying to!!! It is not that way.... Ending the flight still the flight plan is there. The problem is that the plane is loaded from a saved position and because it is an startup fsx condition I cannot revert to a "first loaded carenado plane" so the "virus" of the flight plan is loaded.I was able loading an cold and dark situation from PMDG one. Then loading the Carenado.. but that made it not be able to start engines in middle tank fuel selector (only right or left). I had to start it with control+e and shut it down to save that situation.. and now I can start the plane and not have a flight planINCREDIBLE HOW BAD IS DONE THAT PART OF FSX!!!!But I have another question:* If the plane is out of battery.. or in this case that it told me "Low Bus volt" and with fuel rich tried to start.. but the engine couldn't?.. how do I solve that situation?1. If I am out of battery? Loading again the plane in fsx load aircraft?2. if I can just start the engine from one tank (extrange) but not main center selector? I start it from left or right.. and starts.. but when returning to middle tank.. it stops. No pump fuel works.. no charging the battery some time (well I tried 5minutes with engine almost full).it seems that the second condition happened when loaded the PMDG one.. so it made something in the electrical system of the plane. Only was able to fix it with the control+e But that is not so realistic. I want to know the realistic way. Thanks

Sounds like you are figuring it out!If you want to start from a common default position, choose the FSX C172,not a PMDG plane, though..

When I choosed the FSX C172 it still had the flight plan inside with it. The only solution was to load a previous saved flight. and the only I had was another cessna (that had the flight plan in it) and the pmdg one from tutorial. That solved the problem of deleting the flight plan. Other way I could not do it. Even loading the simplest fsx aircraft.

OK, maybe we are just using different words for the same thing, but you should not be loading a flight at all.Just start a new flight by selecting the airplane, the location, the time etc...You can then save that flight and even make it your default startup flight.
