October 26, 201114 yr Interesting review that would have been 1000 times more relevant if the reviewer compared directly to the same flight on vatsim with ATC present. Also an admission from the reviewer that his hardware makes the experience more immersive than most virtual pilots with typical set up. Mark. Mark CYYZ
October 26, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member Mark, I'm told the initial draft was more along those lines. In order to not rock the boat too much, however, most of the direct comparisons were removed. If you've flown on VATSIM a few times, it's not going to be too hard hard to picture the advantages of guaranteed staffing using real world freqs and not having a controller list to sort through.I do agree about the hardware. That said, external radio panels are becoming more widespread and affordable. Keith Smith PilotEdge Founder ASEL (instrument) Lancair 360
