PMDG 737NGX and Winglets....

Featured Replies

Ok, I have read and read and read, and I fully understand the benefits from having winglets installed on aircraft. My real question here, is how much of http://www.b737.org.uk/winglets.htm <------ This, and the information inside it, actually applies to the NGX. Is there a real difference in function between the two in-game, or is it just a looks thing. I have tried both on the same flight at same time and all, but really didn't see much difference....Note, I didn't really pay attention to fuel consumption though. If anyone who knows could slap some knowledge in my face, that would be great. Thanks guys as always...

I'll be glad to take the chance... Black%20Eye.gifLMAO.gifYes, there is a difference. The devs have stated right from the beginning of the development cycle that there are different models and airfiles involved, so the performance does differ. So to answer your question how much actually applies to the NGX: All of it (but the added $$ for the winglet installation). I only notice different is ground effect,if use has 737winglets during landing will get more ground effect.
