October 30, 201114 yr I run ASE on a networked machine. ASE starts up fine. When I click the Show Aircraft Position on the map page, nothing happens. It will not let me put a check in that box. Additionally, ASE is not updating FSX.I did uninstall FSINN and CoPilot from the ASE machine. It is the only action I can think of that might have caused a problem.Any ideas?Thanks, Brad Rich

It is the only action I can think of that might have caused a problem.Any ideas?Thanks,Hello BradHave a look at page 58 in the manual and check those settings.If that does not help then start at page 52 and work through the simconnect setup again.I have a feeling uninstalling those two programs may have altered your simconnect config files.

I am receiving attached message.Hello Brad.Glad EFB is working againI would work through the setup in the ASE manual as a first step, as this mentions the install of Simconnect.msi hopefully this may be enough to fix it.Good luck.
October 31, 201114 yr Author I ran the simconnet msi. It completes a very fast analysis (can't remember the exact phrase, then completes. It does not look like the msi did anything completing it;s process in about 1-2 seconds. Brad Rich

November 27, 201114 yr Furthermore ASE part loads on my client pc then just before it finishes it says cant find sim connect SP2 on client pc, I take it is connect is the sdk files on the fsx DVDs?
