To fast

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue but i have installed the expansion pack correctly as instructed and for some reason the aircraft is very fast on approach just won't slow down. this seems to be something very simular to what happened when the base pack was released. I did'nt have any issues with the 737 8 but with SP1 and expansion it's all over the place.Regards Steve

Have a look at the descent and approach profiles in the FCTM. If you follow the speed and flap schedule for the specific segments you will find that it will work out fine. And don't be afraid to use the spoilers if needed.JB

Yep just did a ciruit at EGBB to try it alot better but only works if i disable AT and manually control the knots. There does seem to be an issue with the AT ..regards Steveeverything else is grand though love it

I think its somehow related to the way the autothrottle deals with tiny wind shifts.

Johan Pettersen

Auto Throttle serves it's purpose to help meet fuel efficiency, but to have much better control and anticipate changes in aircraft config like durring the approach segments, you might find it much more precise to disengage AT. I believe AT on the majority of carriers is disengaged for the same reason.JB
