November 3, 201114 yr Just finished a flight from Billund (Denmark) to Copenhagen (Denmark)Just before landing in Copenhagen (400 feet or something like that) The plane turned left, the autopilot disconnected (I was performing an Autoland) I was able to grab the controls and make a safe landing.(I haven't installed FSUIPC, i was useing ASE, and autobrake set to 1)What the hell happend.Any suggestions? Help please. :-( Patrick - Denmark i7 10900k - GTX1060 (To be upgraded to RTX3080-ti) - 32 GB of RAM - Nvme SSD - 100 mbps internet
November 3, 201114 yr Possibly a related problem: I was recently performing a manual landing at VHHX and just before touchdown, without any input from me, the aircraft (-800WL) suddenly banked sharply to the left, causing a wing strike and crash . Really frustrating when something like that happens near the end of a flight, I once had an airport vehicle crash into me at the gate after arrival! Will Wilson
November 3, 201114 yr Author Strange. My aircraft also banked left?+ What was your autobrake setting? Patrick - Denmark i7 10900k - GTX1060 (To be upgraded to RTX3080-ti) - 32 GB of RAM - Nvme SSD - 100 mbps internet

November 3, 201114 yr Autobrake was setting 2. Yes I use ASE but I have used a thread in in this forum for making it work with the NGX. Will Wilson
November 3, 201114 yr I had a similar thing happen landing in CYYZ with an aircraft not far in front of me.. Wake turbulence in ASE isn't all that good and I forgot to disable it.. About 150' above the ground i got a sudden sharp bank, managed to straighten it but 30' AGL it happened again causing a wing strike and i crashed.. Make sure wake turbulence is off.. :)
