So, if this is not working, there is no reason to change anything in the aircraft files...

Not sure what you are asking you can remove the lines you do not think should be there but does not make a difference either way. the lighting system in pmdg 737 is a lot more involved than all other payware so 3d will not work in the areas it does not show up.
