November 11, 201114 yr Library Administrator Good morning gentsI have had Random Failures activated, and have yet to have one, and thats ok, but my question is, in the settings, it gives me an option for failures per 10 hours. I havent touched that, so it is at 0, so do I have to put a number in there to get the actual random failure to trigger? Thanks. Brian A. November 12, 201114 yr Hi Brian,You dont need to trigger the failures per 10 hours, I guess that its only to increase the chance to have a failure in all systems, or in a specific one of your choose. The 737 is very reliable and to trigger the service based failures doesnt means that you will have trouble every flight. I do have some with flight controls, very odd one, I cant flight the airplane A/P disangage, and very dificult to control level flight, that was pre SP1, a bug or a failure i dont know.Man, I´ve been in Marana last year and Tucson too, I liked Arizona!Regards Alexandre Blumberg
November 12, 201114 yr I have had a few failures thus far.1) Cockpit pressurization issue (twice)2) Hydraulic failure and engine 2 failureAll random. John Shlofrock KORD Intel Xeon X 5460 3.16 GHZ (quad core) 8.00 GB RAM Nvidia Quadro FX 5600 1.5 GB HP w2408 24" monitor Vista Business 64 bit
November 12, 201114 yr I have had Service base failiures on since day one and have yet to see one. I went for broke and set up the random failures for three in two hours just to get some use out of the QRH. Its funny you mention you have been to Marana as I work for the Town of Marana. Most people havent heard of it unless you live in the area. Brian A.
