Help with HatSwitch needed

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I haven't come across this issue before. I am in the middle of an install into a new rig. I have loaded half my addons, including TrackIR and Ezdok. Surprisingly, touch wood, everything is going very well. However, I have noticed rather odd behaviour with the hatswitch on my Warthog. When in VC mode I can use the hatswitch to look around in any direction, up, down, sideways etc. But when I switch to an external view, in particular, the chase view(?) unsure what the correct terminology is, but the view which allows you to 'fly around' the exterior of the plane in any direction, well for some reason I can only pan left or right, in otherwords I can only move on a horizontal. Has anyone else experienced this? Help with this will be gratefully received. Thanks fellas...

Are you using FSUIPC for stick input?

Hi Robert, I was hoping you weren't going to ask me that. You know what it's like with FSX when you have a problem, you sometimes try every possible avenue until the issue is resolved, but forget which one of the many 'solutions' actually worked! I can't actually remember to be honest. I think it may have been associated with Ezdok, not sure. Does it happen with just one aircraft? Do you have FSUIPC?

Hi Howard!Yes, I understand completely - we all do so much tinkering/troubleshooting/experimenting - in a never-ending quest for more functionality - smoother graphics - "As Real As It Gets" (If you can STAND the pain to GET REAL)... Yes I have FSUIPC REGISTERED, Yes I have EZ DOK... (scratching head)... hmmm... I will experiment further with EZDOK.Thanks for trying to remember!Robert
