When you installed it, did you right click the setup.exe and select Run As Administrator?

Can you uninstall it then reinstall it?

Have you used the UTX setup program?Do you have FSX installed outside of the Program Files program?

I've had it running on XP.I've installed FSX on C drive Program files(X86) and within the FSX folder UTX sits there.There is another file on C drive which is Program files though.One more note. I said that the night lights show from UTX. I was wrong. I turned them of via the setup program and nothing has changed.Hope you can help me as FSX looks crap without UTX...Dave...

You should not have FSX installed into the Program Files folder. Win 7 protects files from changing when they are installed there.

Thanks for the advice.Installed FSX into C:FSX. Installed Acceleration. Installed UTX as Administrator. The little shield is no longer on the short cut of UTX but when i run FSX the textures do no show. It just shows the default textures.Any ideas please. Installed FSX into it's own drive which is F:FSX. Installed Acceleration. Installed UTX as Administrator. Still no luck.Tried to install Orbx. Nothing shows apart from the default textures from FSX.Another thing. Turned the traffic slider up to 70% but no vehicle's show ( Cars and the like).I also put the slider on the GA air traffic to 100% and nothing is flying.Good news. Can you confirm that you get these two screens when running the setup tool for UTX Europe?The tools from UTX are pretty clever and check their stuff to some extent. That's why the guys asked you about that setup tool.However, they are running a dedicated UTX forum where you can post your things too.
