Question about the 600/700

Featured Replies

Are they just visual models, or are they actually based on their real world counterparts?Patrick Boynton

It's not just visual. Differences in flight dynamics and other things are present.

Operating ranges are specific to each variant & each performs differently. Take off in a 600 with no pax and just a little fuel, you'll be going up like a rocket

Theyre shorter haul than the base package right?Patrick Boynton
Hi PatrickI have just done some research and have visited this site http://www.b737.org.uk. On there it says that the range for each NG variant at max payload is as follows737/600: 4,500 NM737/700: 4,400 NM737/800: 4,000 NM737/900: 3,200 NMI guess that these figures are for the normal variants and that the ER version and BBJ's would have a greater range. Am not sure what difference winglets make to the range.I presume the greater range for the 600 series is that the tank size is the same but the max payload is less. That would explain why the range drops with the fuselage extension.
