Hi Ian, Yeah - I checked that link - for some reason they don't have the 135/145 available for download - it looks like the "boxed" version only... The shipping costs will certainly offset the advantage of the sale... Thanks for the assist - though...:) Anyone ever performed a successful merge with the POSKY planes ???Regards,Scott
Hi ScottYeah, sorry I missed seeing that it was box only. But the E-Jet 170/175/190 package is available for download and so I whipped out the trusty old credit card and it is absolutely worth 18 Euros! WOW!! FDE by Rob Young so you know it doesn't get any better than that! VC is superb though a bit on the dark side in daylight. (Yeah, that does sound paradoxical doesn't it but it's very common in so many FS9 aircraft. Go figure!!) Absolutely NO FPS hit - the first glass cockpit I have ever tried that has pulled that off....So here's the bad news - you really do need to RTFM! There really does seem to be some fairly complete systems modeling and lots of new tricks for this old dog to learn! LOL The good news is that it really is as good as everyone said it is. Oh, and if you get bored reading the manual, do a tour of the cabin. Superb work and the flight attendant is, well, errr, quite spectacular ---- you better check her out for yourselves. This is a family friendly web site after all! LOLIanps. Not perfect BTW - the first thing I noticed is that the autobrake switch is not functional in VC... I'm sure there are other things to complain about but it really is an excellent product and worth buying at this amazing price

Hi Ian, The EMB-170/175/190 is not really my favorite aircraft as I really like the 135/145 much better - BUT - all you had to do was mention Rob Young FDE and that sealed the deal... LOL - I purchased it as well... I couldn't figure out how to remove VAT from my order though... I posted over at Aerosoft asking if we could get a "download" version of the 135/145 for the same price as well - I'll let you know what they say... I like the little regional jets the best... If only I could get a good panel for the POSKY CRJ...biggrin.png I'll have to wait until next weekend to install the 170/175/190 though - as I don't have access to my FS PC... Let me know what you think as you familiarize yourself... Thanks...Regards,Scott

I would have preferred the 135/145 too so if they do agree to a download version on sale, I'll be getting it. So far my biggest problem with the E170/190 is that I have difficulty reading the MCP controls. They are very small and there's no popup. Even in 2D they are difficult for an old codger like me to see and in VC they are virtually impossible. The non-functional autobrake switch in the VC is the only other thing I have disliked so far. It is a joy to hand fly it - absolutely flawless. Don't forget to check out the flight attendant! LOL

Try this from the feel there forums. makes it alot bigger so that us old codgers can see it.http://www.iemit.com...?g=posts&t=3896Steve
Thanks Steve. I'll get on it right now. Wish there was a seperate window as I use dual monitors and that would be a good solution. But this sounds like it will help a lotCheers mateIan

The Wilco E135/145 is an excellent product. My only complaint with it was the lighting, or lack of same, in the VC. Looks rather dark in there, as if you're flying for BioShock Airlines.....

It's the same with the FeelThere/Wilco 737 and EMB 170-190... It's ironic that you have better cockpit lighting flying at night than in broad daylight... I wonder if there's a way of making the day textures lighter? I vaguely remember somebody coming up with an improvement for the Cloud9 F4 Phantom that had a similar problem but it was several years ago.huh.png

Is there a No-VC model for this plane? It's hitting my framerates - just a bit too hard...Regards,Scott

LOL - you're killing me Scott. But I think I'm going to pass anyway. I've splurged enough the past two weeks and so hopefully they will repeat the sale at Christmas or New Year... But thanks for the heads up!CheersIan
