November 27, 201114 yr Hi,due to a little project for university (by my own and some friends of mine) we are looking for some 3D models of perfectly build aircraft - which brought me to you ;-)Is there any possibility to get some 3d models from you for - of course - non commercial use (just for some research) and no further distribution? Specially i am looking for whole 3d models (meshes) of aircrafts for some CFD simulations and comparison of the results. If not, any other hint to get some (even not so good ones) would be helpfull!Thank you for your attention,so longSebastianPS: I am posting here cause your the internal "contact us"-function being logged in on precisionmanuals.com ist not working.
November 28, 201114 yr Try opening a ticket in the support portal. That's definatly faster than the forums. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

November 28, 201114 yr Commercial Member 3DOcean (aircraft category linked) is a cheaper alternative to Turbosquid and probably better for what you're wanting to do. Turbosquid has professional quality models so companies such as PMDG could avoid the huge task of modeling the aircraft and just get down to the coding, texturing and baking...although I am in no way inferring that is what PMDG does. November 29, 201114 yr Come on guys, give this guy a break.Seb - I would personally get a copy of X-plane. Within X-Plane, you it allows you to open aircraft in "plane maker" It should show you a mesh version of the 3d model. You can get a freeware 737 online for the x-plane version you are using. Install it, and use the plane maker application to open the 3d model.Hope this helps.Tino, Sante Sottile
