October 18, 201411 yr Im current. Version 1.00.3219. Warren That's weird then, I had that problem after SP1, and SP1c fixed it. Check the CDU POS page, and see if the time there matches the time in the NGX clock, FSX clock, and your system clock, do they all match ? Joe Smith
October 18, 201411 yr Yup, It matches all 3 clocks. Very weird http://www.filedropper.com/frm00004 http://www.filedropper.com/frm00007 Warren

October 18, 201411 yr I recently updated the united livery in the 900WL version. That's when I noticed the change. I'm using the United Airlines 800WL livery currently. Warren
October 18, 201411 yr Does it happen on other liveries ? or the 800 ? Check the default pmdg livery, if not, try and revert the changes you did and check again. Joe Smith
October 18, 201411 yr well must have been a glitch. Restarted FSX for the 5th time and it seems to be cleared and back to normal. I loaded up the default NGX. Then closed down FSX and restarted. Problem solved.

October 18, 201411 yr OK, I think I found what I did. I was entering a temp on the PERF INIT page in the ISA DEV which would kick the time to ETE
October 18, 201411 yr OK, I think I found what I did. I was entering a temp on the PERF INIT page in the ISA DEV which would kick the time to ETE A correct temperature ? Is it supposed to be like this ? Joe Smith
October 18, 201411 yr I guess the FMC doesnt like it when you try to change the T/C OAT. When you do it kicks the time to ETE. I'm running ASN and when I look at the temps I change it to what ASN says in the briefing, it kicks the time to ETE. In this video at the 2:50 mark he enters the winds and the TEMPS @ cruise. I have noticed the TEMPS are automatically placed in the T/C OAT in my FSX. BUT when you change it, the time turns into ETE instead of ETA. Can you confirm this on your NGX as well?
October 18, 201411 yr I always enter the OAT at T/C and this never happened to me. But I use FS Global Real Weather, not ASN, and it doesnt give me the ISA DEV at T/C, only the OAT. In the video, its not quite exactly like the NGX, in the NGX you can either enter an ISA DEV, OR the OAT at T/C, in the video he only has OAT T/C. (anyone knows why?) Are you sure you are entering it into the correct place ? you only supposed to do one, or the other, not both, I always use OAT, never used the ISA DEV. Joe Smith
October 18, 201411 yr I was making the mistake of entering it into the ISA DEV which threw the FMC into ETE mode. I'm led to believe that ASN auto enters the OAT @ cruise into the T/C OAT. It was a simple misunderstanding on my end.
October 19, 201411 yr Im pretty sure there is no "ETE mode", its a bug, if you enter a high number into the OAT T/C, the ETA goes crazy. Try to enter 1, or -1, -2, the ETA just goes crazy like a slot machine on both the ND and the CDU PROG page, if I try a high number like +50 it goes to estimating from 0000z. It also doesnt go back to normal if you then enter a more realistic number like -20 after entering a high one, you have to restart the flight. Joe Smith
