Hi Raj,I see that you have REX and use their weather service. That is a known cause, although it is interesting that you haven't had any freezes before installing EFB. Are you running EFB on a separate computer?Try cycling through the views while in the VC by pressing the "A" key, it may unfreeze FSX but that is certainly not a permanent cure.Another thing is that you may have to place the UIAutomationcore.dll in your Root Flight Simulator X folder which should help.

It's the REXX Weather Engine that's passing bad data to FSX's SimConnect. If you turn-off the REXX weather engine you won't get this problem. Consider using Hi-Fi Sim's ASE Weather Engine instead? :Big Grin:Cheers,- jahman.

FSUIPC.dll must always be installed fast, Sometimes we install new things and don't realize we now use an older version of FSUIPC.DLL.

Thank you very much, I suspected REX as had difficulties installing on the first place and then also could not update to Rex HD version. I will try to reinstall again when get chance. Much appreciated.

By chance did this start happening when you installed service pack 1 for the NGX. May be coincidence, but I've been getting freezes too since I installed the sp1. Can not complete an NGX flight.

I did 2 things that solved my problem. I use the System Mechanic utility suite. It notified me that I had an issue with some system files after doing an auto scan. I applied the fix and was amazed that my problem went away. I'm able to do cross country flights with no issues.The second thing that I did that may or may not have had any impact was that I started using an external frame rate limiter. I suspect that this was not what solved my problem because I had success in the past operating without the limiter.I was really pulling my hair out over this one. There is a very long thread in this forum dealing with this issue with no real solutions presented. The SP threw me too because I thought that was the issue. Who knows maybe it does corrupt some system files.So maybe start with a chkdsk...I can't guarantee that System Mechanic will help in your case but it is a great Utility suite in itself.
